How did Potsdam (1945) develop the Cold War?

A
  • USA tested the A bomb, developed the arms race, which would increase the chance of war, and tension increased.
  • Truman’s get tough policy, developed the Cold War, as it increased tension between the supepower leaders, and made it unlikely they would work together.
  • Red army in Europe also increases struggle in military power, developing arms race, making the countries view each other as rivals.
