  • Germany to be split into 4 zones (USA, France, Britain and the Soviet Union)
  • Germany to pay $20,000,000,000 ($20 Billion) in reparations, half of that going to the Soviet Union
  • Nazi party banned

  • A United Nations to be set up
  • Stalin joined war against Japan
  • Future Eastern European governments decided in free elections
  • Poland regain it’s 1921 borders

  • Berlin also divided into 4 zones
  • Each country takes reparations from the zone it controls

  • Churchill wanted the second front to be in the Balkans but Roosevelt agreed with Stalin that it should be in France

  • Stalin wanted all 16 Soviet states individual in the UN, France and the USA only gave Russia, Belarus and Ukraine membership
  • Stalin expected Poland to become Communist, Churchill wanted the non-communist London Poles (Polish politicians who set up a government in London) to win
