How does the circuit work?
A
A low light level is sensed by the LDR
The LDR sends a signal to the transistor to indicate that light level is low
The transistor responds by switching on the LED

What is the role of variable resistor VR1?
A
It sets the sensitivity of the light sensor

How do you prepare the soldering iron?
A
Turn it on and let it heat up and then clean it with a damp sponge. To check its heat put the solder on the soldering iron

How do you make the soldering joint?
A
Take the soldering iron and heat the joint for 5 seconds. Then feed in the soldering wire and hold it on the joint until a good joint is formed

A
Make sure it’s not a dry joint
