Hungary

A

Hungary invaded by Russia in 1945 and Allies agreed with occupation. In elections non-communists gained Majority while Communists gained Minority. Communists elected were led by Rakosi who demanded banning of opposition. He hinted at Russian invasion in case of disagreement. Slowly, he gained support and began arresting opposition.
