Explain ‘Bargaining in good faith’.

A

Where a T.Us (/a group of T.Us) have been recognised as a bargaining agent, the T.U /(the group of T.Us) and the employer shall bargain in good faith.

Bargaining in good faith requires the T.U/group of T.Us and employers to;

1)  Meet and discuss meaningfully ;

a) a collective agreement(/any variation of one), including initiation of the bargaining or renewal of the collective agreement \+
b) any matters related to the agreement while in force.

2+3) To do their best to quickly enter into procedure agreements and find mutually acceptable solutions.
