What was the situation of leadership within the White army
There was no clear leader, and no co-operation between the multiple leaders
Why was geography a losing factor for the whites
Russia was vast, and the armies were spread around in different parts - therefore control was exceptionally hard to maintain
Why was morale low within the army
There were varied reasons for people joining the white army, there wasn’t clear cause and as a result no clear finish.
There was little morale within the army due to their being no clear road to victory nor plan when/if victory was achieved
What corruption riddled the white army
Areas they controlled were corrupt, soldiers stole from the people they controlled.
40% of medical supplies were stolen and sold on the Black Market
How were the white soldier brutal
They showed mass brutality over the people they ruled over in the areas they controlled.
Thievery, adultery and rape flourished in these areas - several were killed for speaking out against the White army.
