HOSPITALS if they were ill they could go to the monastery. On HOLY DAYS they could how to the church to have some fun. Politics advised the king and help run the country. The helps POOR people to get food and clothes. Life is hard and HEVEN gives people HOPE
What does purgatory mean?
It is a waiting place for people who are not going to hell but do not deserve to go to heven

They run the estate who does stuff like collect the rent and weighs the grain

A place where people can worship a particular person. A place dedicated to a holy or religious person

Henry had a good friend called Thomas becket and asked him to help him run the country. Soon after Henry made Thomas Archbishop of Canterbury. But Thomas didn’t do what Henry told him to do. They had an argument and Henry told he to leave England for 6 years. After 6 years Henry told Thomas to come back hoping he’d have changed. But he hadn’t and they argued again. Henry told the knights about Thomas and he said who get rid of this turbulent priest and the knight thought that meant Henry wanted to have him killed. The knight came with weapons and your not supposed to murder in church but they did any way they chopped his head off

It’s a highly decorated piece of work that has borders, embellished first letters and little pictures etc
