an area chart emphazizes the magnitude of change over an time
a column chart
a column chart shows data changes over a period of time or shows comparisons among items
a bar chart
a bar chart shows comparisons among individual items
A LINE CHART
a line chart shows trends in data at equal intervals
a pie chart
a pie chart shows the proportional size of items that make up a data series to the sum of the items it always shows only one data series and is useful when you want to emphazise a significant element
a doughnet chart
a doughnet chart shows the realtion of parts to whole but it can contain more than one data series
stock chart
the stock chart is actully high low close chart the high low close chart is often used to show stock prices this chart can also be used for scientif data example to indicate temprature changes
xy scatter chart
an xy chart either shows the realotionship among the numericvalues in several data series or plots 2 groups of numbers as one series of xy coordinates
a bubble chart
a bubble chart is a type of scatter chart the size of the data marks the value of a third vairable to arange ur data
radar chart
a radar chart each catogry has its own values of axis radiating from the centre point lines connect all the vales in the same series
a surface chart
a surface chart is useful when u want to find optimum combinations between 2 sets of data
