What is the cerebral cortex?
A
This is the centre of conscious thought, where memories are recalled and what alters behaviour in light of experience

What is localisation?
A
Localisation (distinct regions with a particular function) of brains functions containing sensory, motor and association areas

What are association areas?
A
They concern language, processing, personality, imagination and intelligence

What does the left side of the cerebral hemisphere do?
A
It deals with information from the right visual field and controls the right side of the body and vice versa
