What is the CNS?
A
A network of cells which is our primary internal communication system

what are the two main functions of the CNS?
A
1.it collects/ processes and responds to information in the environment
2.it coordinates the working of the different organs and cells in the body

what is the CNS made up of?
A
The brain and spinal cord

What does the brain do (in the CNS)?
A
processes all incoming information from the senses and is responsible for controlling behaviour that may result from this information

what does the spinal cord do (in the CNS)?
A
allows messages to be passed from the body and brain in order to get them to respond
