The front of the brain and Judgement, Personality, Body Movement, Speaking, and Writing
Where is the Parietal Lobe located and its function
The top of brain and Memory of objects, Touch Senses (temperature, pain, sensory)
Where is the Temporal Lobe located and its function?
The side of the brain and Hearing, Understanding Language
Where is the Occipital Lobe located and its function?
The back of the brain and Vision
Where is the Cerebellum located and its function ?
Below the Occipital Lobe and Balance, Coordination
What does the Brain Steam consist of?
Pons, Midbrain, Medulla Oblongata
Where is pons located and its function?
The middle of the brain stem and Breathing, Swallowing, Sleep`
Where is Midbrain located and its function?
The top of the brain stem and Vision, Hearing but also Reflex Center
Where is Medulla Oblongata located and its function?
The bottom of the brain steam and Heart Rate, Blood Pressure, Breathing, Swallowing, Vomiting
What does the Diencephalon consist of?
The Thalamus and Hypothalamus
Where is the Thalamus located and its function?
Above the midbrain / middle of the brain (looks like an eye) Relay Station- Sensory Input = Send Somewhere
Where is the Hypothalamus and its function?
Below and to the left of the thalamus and Thirst, Hunger, Sleep, Emotions
