What happened to Leon’s father?
He got beaten by a Gestapo because he wouldn’t give the key to the apartment downstairs. Then, he got taken away and Leon had an epiphany deciding to act.
How did Leon’s dad meet Oskar Schindler?
He got sent to the factory to repair some tools and ended up helping Oskar open a safe. He got hired on the spot. This is important because Oskar is the person who saves Leon.
How were Leon and his family treated?

Why does Leon get pulled from the line?
The guard thinks he is too young and puny to work. Leon sneaks past him as soon as he wasn’t looking.
