What was the Black Death?
The Black Death was a disease that spread through Asia Europe and Africa.
How many people did it kill?
It is said that it killed almost 50%of the population.
When did the Black Death really take off?
October 1347
What was the black deaths actually name?
The bubonic plague.
How did the plague go from place to place?
People on boats were infected and as the boats traveled across the world it spread.
It also spread by poor sanitation and fleas on rats.
What places of your body got infected?
Under arms
Groin
Back of neck
How did people think it got spread?
People thought other people got infected by the spirits of the dead passing it on to people
How did some people try get away from the Black Death?
Done people tried to flee the country but they usually were already infected and just spread it more.
What happened to the villages that had died out?
Some of the villages that died out were discovered after WWII.
