A - Airspeed - increase if possible

L - Landing Attitude - Establish

C - Collective - Raise as necessary to stop descent and cushion landing

A - Affected Engine - Identify

S - Single Engine Emerg. Shutdown - Perform

Engine Overspeed - Governor Failure

A

CVN - ATL

C - Collective: Raise as necessary to maintain N2/Nro within limits

V - VAR Nr System Norm/Man Switch - CHECK MAN

N - N2 Trim Switch: Try to trim Nro to 101% with matched TRQ

A - Affected Engine: Identify

T - Twist grip (affected engine): Rotate towards idle, N2/Nro stabilize in normal range/FLI needles match.

L - Land as soon as Practicable

Engine Underspeed - Governor Failure

A

OB - VANTL - S

O - OEI Flight Condition: Establish

B - Bleed air Consumers: Off

V - VAR Nr System Norm/Man sw: Check Man

A - Affected Engine: Identify

N: N2 Trim switch: Compensate N2/Nro Drop and try to match TRQ

T- Twist Grip (affected engine): Release stop plate, rotate towards FLIGHT until N2/Nro stabilize in normal range/FLI needles match

L - Land as soon as PRACTICABLE

IF NO RESIDUAL TRQ (AFFECTED ENGINE) IS AVAILABLE:

S - Single Eng. Emerg. Shutdown

Tail Rotor Drive Failure/Fixed Pitch - Forward Flight

A

CAS - SAL - AAA

C- Collective: Reduce to maintain minimum sidslip angle

A - Airspeed: maintain 70 knots or more

S - Suitable landing area: Select

S - Shallow approach with nose left: perform

A - Airspeed: Reduce close to ground until nose aligned with flight direction

L- Landing: Perform

IF NOSE DIRECTION CHANGES FROM LEFT TO RIGHT (40 kts or higher):

A -Airspeed: Increase

A - Approach: Abort. Climb to height for autorotation

A - Autorotation: Perform
