When is the only time you count points for short suits?
When a good trump suit has been found.

4 - with only 3, subtract one point from your distribution points.

What is a “Quick Trick”?
Suits that have the potential to win tricks the first or second time a suit is led.

What are the two most important numbers in bidding and why?
26 and 33. If you determine the point count is below 26, stop bidding as soon as you can. If above 33, turn your thinking to making a slam.
