The idea that not only does God exist but so do evil and suffering.

A
God is just and allows suffering to happen as a punishment for human sin.

Three criticisms of the Augustinian Theodicy?

-If humans were able to choose evil then evil existed in the first place.
-The existence of Hell contradicts the existence of an all-loving God.
-God is unjust in allowing humans to be punished for Adam’s sin.
