What is feudalism?
Feudalism is a form of government that declares for someone to live on a duke’s land, you had to work in the fields and pay taxes in exchange for a place to live and protection.
What was the Domesday Book?
The Domesday Book was essentially a book recording how much land someone owned and how much William could tax them.
What was the Harrying of the North?
The Harrying of the North was a series of attacks that William ran on people who badmouthed him, establishing his power and scaring any rebellions off
What is the Bayeux Tapestry
The Tapestry is a story of how William conquered England. It could also be used for advertising his rule and making people accept that he was the new king.
