What were the similarities and differences from the 13 colonies?
Differences: They had different climate and geography
Similarities: They were all in America and were colonies
What is an indentured servant?
A servant that is serving as a slave instead of spending time in jail
Why were the colonies set up in America?
They wanted there resources so they could send them back to England.

An economic policy in which nations tried to gain wealth by controlling trade and establishing colonies
Climate and Geography of New England
They had harsh soil and bad farming with the cold snowy winter. Northern colonies. These colonies are Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.
Climate and Geography of the Middle colonies
Rich soil and amazing farming. These colonies are the in the middle of the south and north colonies which includes Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware, and New Jersey.
Climate and Geography of the Southern colonies
Rich rich soil, rare farming, and very good trading. They are the 5 southern colonies which include Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
What is a charter?
A document the king made that has rules on it that the colonist must follow.
What is the problem with the charters?
The colonist did not like the charters
Who was allowed to vote?
Free White men that owned land.
Who was not allowed to vote?
Black people, white women, slaves, white men with no land that were pore.
What country did the colonies belong to?
England
Did the colonies take over there own economy in just England, just the colonies, both, or neither?
