Pharmacists must be able to effectively manage resources and information. He/she must also be comfortable being managed by others, whether an employer, an immediate superior, or the leader of a healthcare team.

Pharmapreneurism - describe the process by which pharmacy entrepreneurs achieve their career aspirations by addressing the nation’s health care, research, policy, and societal needs through leadership, creativity, and innovation.
Pharmacists may be defined as “social entrepreneurs” rather than the standard “business entrepreneur.”

Life-long learning is the responsibility of individual pharmacists for systematic maintenance, development and broadening of knowledge, skills and attitudes, to ensure competence as a professional, throughout their careers
As critical members of the ever-changing healthcare system, this quality is important to sustain the pharmacists’ competence and ensure the provision of quality patient care.

Aside from educating patients and other healthcare professionals regarding the rational use of medicines, the pharmacist also has the responsibility to assist with the education and training of future generations of pharmacists.
Participating as a teacher not only imparts knowledge to others, it also offers an opportunity to gain new knowledge and to fine-tune existing skills.

In medication therapy management, the pharmacists take the lead in multidisciplinary caring situations.
Leadership must involve compassion and empathy, as well as the ability to make decisions, communicate, and manage effectively.
Leader
Pharmacists must be able to use the evidence-based approach effectively in order to provide proper advice on the rational use of medicines.
Pharmacists must be able to increase the availability of unbiased health and drug-related information to the public and other health care professionals.
Researcher
In all areas of practice, the pharmacist must be able to proactively recognize an opportunity for improvement and act on it.
He/she must be able to motivate, inspire, catalyze, and potentially lead the change process to achieve a positive outcome, especially in patient care.
Agent of Positive Change
