Examples: Warts, seborrheic keratoses.

Thickening of the skin from repeated scratching or rubbing.

A
Deep thickening of the skin from edema, inflammation, or infiltration with hard, resistant feeling.
Examples: Panniculitis, metastatic skin cancer.

Central indentation, usually viral in nature.
Examples: Molluscum contagiosum, herpes simplex.
