  1. check there are 2 needles and 4 threads
  2. always run fabric through overlocker when finished
  3. no pins in fabric as they would damage the needle
  4. take off cuts away from ,aching and put in bin

Why do you use the over locker?

A

Overlockers are used for edging, hemming, or seaming. Additionally, overlocker sewing machines that come with built-in blades will also trim off excess fabric along the edges to prevent fraying

A

The space between the cutting line and the sewing line.

A

Cutline line: the line in which the item has been cut
Notch: a mark, cut, mark on the side of the fabric that allows pattern pieces to line up
Place on fold: Place the pattern piece on the edge of the fold for a neater finish and saves fabric

If you cannot reuse you item you can take it to an op-shop or if thats not an option, cleaning rags carpet padding or insulation
it is god to recycle because it won’t g into land fill and can be made into a new product for a new owner
