TEXT Flashcards
WHy would you use this info, PD?
Self dispatch data intended to be used by flight crew if information cant be obtained from dispatch office.
TO data which flaps and thrust?
single flap 5, at Max TO thrust.
Which conditions?
Range of conditions limited to those normally encountered
Max allowable TO Weight?
Least of:
Field Limit weight
Climb Limit weight
Obstacle Limit weight
Brake energy speed
Tire Speed limit
LRC and Max Op Alt, calculated in which manner?
Same as FMC. Max alt for given cruise weight and Man Capability. Table consider THRUST and BUFFET limits, providing most limited one. Asterisk is THRUST LIMITED. Thrust limited condition, level flight at 100ft/km.
Flying above Max ALT?
Bank excess of 15deg bank, lose speed or alt.
LRC Step climb trip fuel and time?
Step climb profile is 4000ft step, to stay within 2000ft of optimum alt for current cruise weight.
Short trip fuel and time?
Short distances, less 500nm or alternate!
Holding data?
FMC holding speed, which is higher of Max endurance vs flaps up maneuver speed. Bases on racetrack. Holding straight - reduce 5%.
Sufficient O2 for?
Greater of Cabin Dep or prot breathing if smoke or fumes in FD. Min dispatch quantity is enough.
Net Level of weight?
Terrain clearance with Eng failure. Actual gradient performance degraded by 1.1%. Net Level of Alt must clear terrain by 1000ft.
Landing - tables provide MLW limited by?
Field length limit weight.
Climb requirements.
For single landing flap - 40.
Gear down ops, how to eliminate erroneous displays? Explain further?
Enter only gross weight data on PERF INIT page. Omission of CI, cruise alt will cause VNAV to be unavailable. VNAV guidance, speed schedules, trip fuel, ETA, OPT ALT, MAX ALT, step climb, TOD won’t be available.
Gross weight only, provides?
TO, App speed schedules. Flap Man and Vref bugs.. AP and AT and LNAV.
