A
- turns blue cobalt chloride paper pink
- White CuSO4 blue( anhydrous to hydrated)

- Burns with a pale blue flame producing a pop sound
- extinguishes burning splinter

- rekindles -A glowing wooden splinter
- Absorbed in colourless alkaline pyrogallol solution which turns brown
