Ciliospinal Reflex
A
Squeeze, pinch the SCM and check for the homolateral pupil. A slight, subtle dilation should occur!
Absent reflex with interrupted oculosympathetic pathway!

1. Tropia
A
How the eye moves in the socket:
- eso: inside=ADD
- exo: outside= ABD
hyper: up
hypo: down
Test with BOTH eyes open
Cover test: what happens with one eye, if the other eye is covered
Typical sign of strabism! Muscle dysbalance

2. Phoria
A
Eye deviation from the normal when ONE eye is closed
Uncover test: what happens with one eye, supposed to stare straight, if the other eye is uncovered:
HETEROPHORIA
may occur due to headache, dizziness, strabism
Test with and without neck rotation!
