Water prob: they learned to dig ditches to allow water to flow their fields

Defense prob: they built large walls with mud bricks but the problem with that is it’s not so effective for a while

A

They had crops which is what everyone wanted so they traded that for cloth, stone etc

The problem with that is that it was difficult because they didn’t have a good way to make sure it’s a fare monetary trade.
