Gross Motor Function Measure

A

5 months -16 years, children with CP and DS
Best in ages 1-5
ICF: Activity, Criterion Referenced, Standarized
Areas: Gross Motor Function in rolling, crawling, sitting, standing, walking, running, jumping
Primary use is to assess the quantity of movement in these populations.

TIMP

A

Infants born premature 34 weeks post conceptual to 4 months post term. (38-40 weeks is full term)
ICF: Activity, Norm-Referenced Standardized
Areas: Looking at Postural Control of the head and trunk in supine, prone and upright positions
Primary Use: to discriminate infants with risk of poor motor outcomes. Sensitive to effects of interventions.

Note: Has Predictive validity for infants that are 3 months post term age to diagnose them with a neurological issue like CP if they score below the 10th percentile.

Areas:Discriminate Measurement tool 5 dimensions of participation: Diversity, intensity with whom, where and enjoyment.
PAC: assess preference for involvement in activities

CF: Participation

Purpose: Assesses multiple Dimension of Activity
Looks at day to day participation, recreation, social…etc.Can help determine a rehab program.
