How did mountains affect life in Greece?
The mountains affected life in Greece because they made travel difficult and since people couldn’t travel easily it made it difficult to unite under one government, also the mountains limited farming.
How did the ocean help Greece?
The sea was used by Greece like a highway. It linked the religions and made trade easier. They also caught fish which became a trade item.

Trade expose the Greeks to other cultures, from which they adopted the alphabet and coins.

Religion is polytheistic.The Greeks believed 12 main gods lived on Mount Olympus. Literature ( myths) told stories of gods and goddesses. Sports competitions like the Olympics were held to honor the gods Zeus.

Tyrants usually came to power when the poor were dissatisfied with their leaders or were some kind of crisis. They took power illegally and therefore, their power was very unstable

Spartan society revolved around war. All youth were thought to be tough from the time they were born.

The main features of the geography of Greece were that mountains covered 70% to 80% of the country .It was surrounded by water .Basically it was a Peninsula with a coastline
