<p>When the narration is from the main character's point of view. This main characters narration is limited to his own knowledge of things.</p>

<p>When narration is told not from the main characters perspective, but from an anonymous persons view, who assumes the first person. </p>
<p>3rd person Omniscient </p>
<p>When the narrator assumes the 3rd person, and has no limits in knowledge (aka the narrator knows everything) </p>
