Job factors that cause dissatisfaction if missing, but that do not nessessarily motivate employees if they are increased.

Employees try to maintain equity of inputs and outputs compared to others in simililar positions.

Equal Employment Oppertunity Commision - Gave the EEOC right to issue workplace guidelines for acceptable employer conduct. Vested with the power of enforcement.
