What are sacraments?
Sacraments are signs in with Jesus meet with us to share God’s life with us. There are seven sacraments: Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Penance and Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders, and Matrimony.
What is the purpose of the sacraments?
The sacraments help us to live holy lives. Sanctifying grace is God’s love and life in us. All the sacraments give Grace, which helps us to carry on as Christians to serve one another.

The Christian celebration of Christ’s death and resurrection. Do Eucharist is a sacrifice and a meal. It is a sacrifice because in it Christ offer himself to God and we offer ourselves with him. The Eucharist is a meal because Jesus comes to us as our food which we received with our community. We are nourished and strengthened and transformed into a community of faith for believers.
What is confirmation?
Sacrament In which God sends us the Holy Spirit to help us to be responsible for serving others, by our good deeds,words and prayers. We are commissions to carry out the mission of Christ and his church with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
What is holy orders?
The sacrament in which Jesus shares his special ministry of service with Bishop’s priests and deacons so they can
Serve his church by helping people to become holy and faithful disciples.
What is matrimony?
A sacrament and was Jesus unites a man and a woman in a holy and lifelong marriage. Jesus helps them to be helpful and loyal to each other and to the children they may have.
What is anointing of the sick?
Sacrament and was Jesus comfort those in the community horn of healing. He give them peace, Forgives their sins and often restores them to health.

What are the sacraments of healing?
The sacraments of healing are reconciliation and anointing of the sick. Through these sacraments, We are shown that God is always willing to forgive, heal and love us. Are openness to God’s love is celebrated within the sacraments as well.
What are the sacraments of vocation?
The sacraments are holy orders and marriage. It is the giving of you to another in marriage Into the church in Holy orders and continue to do God’s work here on earth.
Which sacrament should only be received once?

What does the word confirmation mean?

What are the two great commandments?

What are the laws of the church?
- celebrate mass every Sunday and holy days of obligation
- fast and abstain on the days appointed
- receive Eucharist during lent
- receive Reconciliation at least once a year
- contribute to the support of the parish/ church.

What is the solemnity of Mary, mother of god?
January 1st (we honor Mary, mother of God).
When is ascension Thursday?
40 days from Easter (Jesus ascends into heaven).
When is the Assumption of Mary?
August 15th (Mary was taken into heaven body and soul).
When is all saints day?
November 1st (We honor all the saints in heaven).
When is immaculate conception?
December 8th (Mary was free from sin from the fist moment of her life).
When is Christmas?
December 25th (We celebrate the birth of Jesus).
Sign of the cross?
In the name of the father, the son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Our father?
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed by thy name. Thy kingdom
come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our
trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver
us from evil. Amen.
Glory be?
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is

Hail Mary?

Nicene creed?

consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he

Definition of stations of the cross:
They can be found in almost if not all Catholic churches. They are pictures or
symbols depicting the fourteen (sometimes fifteen) steps along Jesus way to the cross. Praying the

Leader of a Diocese and responsible for serving the people who live in his
Diocese.
Blessed Trinity:
The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Catholic:
Welcoming or open to the whole world. Inclusive of all.
Christians:
Followers of Jesus.
Christmas:
Time on calendar we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.
