Ancestors of the Romans that migrated into Italy
Etruscans
They ruled much of central Italy, including Rome. The Romans learned a lot from their civilization. The Romans drove out the Etruscan and created a new type of government a republic.
Republic
The Romans type of government, were the people elected the individuals in the Government and the Senate was the most powerful holdingt300 people upperclass status, electing 2 consuls each year that supervised the business in government and when their was a war a dictator would be elected and they held all the power.

Elected by the Senate, Consuls job was to supervise the business of government t and to command the armies, the consuls were expected to consult with the senate
Dictator
An individual who had complete power when a war was upon Rome.
Cincinnatus
A model dictator who was a dictator and led the Romans to a victory and he was admired because he gave up power without a fight after the war
Plebeians
Lower class in Rome
Laws of the Twelve Tables
The first Formal codifications of Roman customs and laws, these laws dealt with debt, family relations, litigation procedures, property and other public matters plus the scared law.
Tribunes
Tribunes were the plebeians officials in government after time had passed by and they gained some rights.

Citizens who valued their customs and had qualities of a powerful community and were willing soldiers who wanted to fight for their home and protect it they respected their home and were not paid to fight
