A

What is a microprocessor?

A

A microprocessor is basically a CPU. It’s a chip that basically is in charge of keeping the computer functioning and it makes the computer work together.

How is the Microprocessor made?

A

The microprocessor chip is made of sand and is melted to turn into silicon. They take a big blade and slice thin discs. It uses a type of laser/light to imprint the chip into it. They take another blade and separate the chips.
