Essay:

Identify from Acts 2 and beyond the significance of the person and work of the holy spirit in the early church. Discuss the frequency with which the Holy spirit is mentioned and the repeated infillings of the Holy Spirit. how is this relevant to the church today

A

The Holy spirit is mentioned 55 times from acts 2 and up. The disciples didn’t do anything until the holy spirit was with them. they always fasted and prayed until the holy spirit came upon them and then they spoke boldly through the holy spirit… Today the churches is to scared to make a stand and speak boldly about what’s going on in the world. so we as a church needs to pray and fast and ask for the Holy spirit to come upon us so we can speak boldly.
