Prefix:

Word root:
Central part of word that contains the basic meaning of the word
Combining vowel or form:
Usually a vowel that helps connect two word parts

Bi lipid, simi-permeable membrane that surrounds the cell
Cytoplasm
The liquid that fills the cell
Nucleus
The brain of the cell that controls cell activity
DNA:
Deoxyribonucleic acid, the blue print for cell activity
