Q

When we use the celestial sphere to help us predict where to look for objects in the sky, we imagine all the stars are painted on a giant sphere that is spinning around the Earth every day, even though in reality, the stars aren’t zooming all the way around the universe that fast.

A

This is because the same stars rise is the East and set in the West everyday if you are looking from the same horizon. They orbit is a circle and can only move so far. They look like they are moving so fast because they are moving while the Earth is also moving.
