Never promote your own ministry at your Pastor’s expense.

What is at our disposal?
- Righteousness has been given to us! (We have been made right with God through Jesus Christ and have been given the same power, dominion and authority Adam had before he sinned. The same power, dominion and authority that Jesus had when he walked onn earth as a man with the Holy Spirit upon him is ours as well.
- Angels have been given us!
- Jesus and His blood have been given us!
- The Name of Jesus has been given to us!
- The Holy Ghost has been given to us!
What is your greatest asset to your Pastor?
Loyalty and Faithfulness.
What are the four reasons why I should witness:
- because I know the Bible is real and can free people from the power of sin.
- because I have a responsibility to share the blessings of my salvagtion
- because Christ commanded me to witness.
- because I am a representative of Christ.
What is Evangelism?
The spreading of the Good News– to proclaim Jesus Christ as God and Savior, to persuade people to become His disciples and responsible members of His Church (Something Christ does through us and not something we do for Christ)
What Evangelism is not?
- It is Not condemning people, but convicting them.
- It is Not beating people up with the Word.
- It is Not telling them to get cleaned up and then come to Jesus.
- It is Not telling them salvation is by works.
Evangelism is?
A Command.
How many times does the word Evangelist occur in the New Testament?
3 times.
What is the Greek meaning of the Word Evangelist?
One who brings the evangel, (good news): a messenger of good tidings.
What is the message of the Evangelist?
The redeeming grace of God.
What is the Evangelist favorite theme?
Salvation in its simplest form.
Who is the only New Testament example we have of an Evangelist?
Philip. His ministry is the model because it is the only one God gave us.
We need to know who we are to tell them what they will become:
- we are Sons and Daughters of God
- We are heirs of God.
- God has called us gods.
Describe the Silent Syndorme.
Lack of Training Leads to Lack of Knowledge (about how to lead others to Christ/how to witness); this leads to Fear, and because of paralyzing fear they (Christians) become silent.
3 reasons for giving your personal testimony?
- People cannot argue with personal experience.
- A testimony is designed to bring hope for deliverance and show a way out …you are the example.
- In your testimony, you always say things that would reprove the unbeliever in a kind and loving way.
