How did the Vietnam war end? And how does it relate to Cold War

A

Saigon fell to Viet Cong, they couldn’t hold their own once US was fully out of South Vietnam. The loss can just be considered a battle during the Cold War since we won the Cold War. It was a battle we fought to try and keep communism from spreading but did not succeed, so in all it was part of the cold war because of the reason the U.S. Fought in the Cold War
