Interjection

Conjunction
A word used to connect clauses or sentences.
Examples: for, and, nor, buy, or, yet, so

Juxtaposition
The placement of two things close to each other with contrasting effects.
Examples: night and day, short and tall
Anaphora
Repetition of a word or phrase at the beginning of successive clauses.
Example: I have a dream
Accumulatio
A piling up or the gathering of something.
Example: “A generation goes and a generation comes, yet the earth remains forever.”
Epizeuxis
The technique of repeating the same word back to back.
Example: “I won’t do it! I won’t! I won’t! I won’t!”
Dialogue
Speech, language, or conversation between two characters.
