syllogism
a type of reasoning where the conclusion is perceived from two linked premises
paradox
a self contradictory statement
ex-the beginning of the end
tautology
an unreasonable use of the same word (or word/phrase of the same meaning) in the same sentence

the use of unnecessarily large word/words to describe something simple

fallacious argument where persuasion relies on threats or coercion rather than evidence or reasoning

when correlation is mistaken as causation

an argument where someone refuses to take criticism or blame because the person accusing them has done the same thing
