Brings together rights and remedies available to consumers in in consumer v business contracts
What section is ‘supply of goods’ and what is this meant by?
S9 - every contract to supply goods is to be treated as including a term that the quality of the goods is satisfactory
Fitness for all durability and purpose, goods appearance & finish, safety of goods and freedom from minor defect
S10 - right of fitness for particular purpose, where the trader is informed of the purpose of which the goods are needed
Expectations of supply of goods?
Defects known to the consumer, consumer has examined goods before the contract
What are some remedies to breach of consumer rights act?
S20 - short term right to reject, consumer can reject faulty goods within 30 days and receive a full refund
S23 - right to a repair or replacement within reasonable time
