F Stop

A device that utilizers aa flashtube for high-speed illumination.
Memory Card
An electronic flash memory data storage device used for storing digital information.
Bounce
Light that is bounced off a reflective surface onto the subject in order to achieve a softer lighting effect.
Direct Light
The absence of light on any other side except the side with a single light source.
Bracketing
A technique of taking several shots of the same object using different camera settings.
Fill Light
A light used to eliminate or soften shadows caused by the mail source of illumination.
Aperture
An opening that limits the quantity of light that can enter an optical instrument.
Vanishing Point
The point at which receding parallel lines viewed in perspective appear to converge.
Composit Image
A photograph formed by superimposing two or more separate photographs.
Style
A particular, distinctive characteristic mode or form of execution, construction, appearance of a visual work which can be associate with a particular person or group of people.
Fore Ground
The ground or parts situated, or represented as situated, in the front; the portion of a scene nearest to the viewer.
Middle Ground
Thee ground or parts, as of a scene, situated in the rear.
Background
The middle distance of a painting or photograph.
