Palpate the medial thigh where the femur bone meets the trunk of the body.

A region in an organ or tissue which has suffered damage through injury or disease
Papule
A solid or cystic raised spot on the skin that is less than 1cm wide. A type of skin lesion.
Rales
Small clicking, bubbling, or rattling sounds in the lungs
Peristalsis
The involuntary construction and relaxation of the muscles of the intestine or another canal
Is evaluated by touching the medial corner of the eye to elicit a blink
Palpebral reflex
Is evaluated by moving an open palm rapidly toward the animal’s eye
Menace reflex

Flex the animal’s paw and place it on the exam table or floor
