The Core Responsibility of a Technical Sergeant
It is the TSgt’s responsibility to ensure that all enlisted personnel have the tools, training and support they need to achieve maximum performance and accomplish total mission effectiveness
Abuse
The intentional, wrongful, or improper use of government resources.
ADCON
Direction or exercise of authority over subordinate or other organizations with respect to administration and support.
Aerospace Power
The synergistic application of air, space, and information systems to project global strategic military power.
Air Force Members
All Reserve, Guard, RegAF officers and Enlisted personnel serving in the USAF.
Air Force Personnel
All civilian employees, including government employees, in the Department of the AF, Reserve and Guard members, and all RegAF officers and enlisted.
Airman
Associated with uniformed members of the USAF, regardless of rank or component. Civil Air Patrol assigned to AF commands are also called Airmen.
Attrition
The reduction of the effectiveness of a force by loss of personnel and material.
Capital Case
An offense for which death is an authorized punishment under the UCMJ.
Chain of Command
The succession of commanding officers from superior to a subordinate through which command is exercised.
Coalition
And ad hoc arrangement between two or more nations for common action.
Coalition Force
A force composed of military elements of nations that have formed a temporary alliance for some specific purpose.
Coherent
Sticking together. Paramilitary and military measures, short of overt armed conflict, involving regular forces employed to achieve national objectives.
Cohesion
The act, process, or condition of cohering; a sense of togetherness.
Command & Control
The exercise of authority and direction by a properly designated command over assigned and attached forces in the execution of the mission.
