The point at which the Zodiac insects the Eastern Horizon; the 1st cusp house
Descendant
The point at which the Zodiac insects the Western Horizon; the seventh house cusp
Midheaven
The point at which the Zodiac intersects the meridian in the North; the tenth house cusp
Imum Coeli
“Below Heaven” The point at which the Zodiac intersects the meridian in the South; forth cusp house
Zenith
The point on an imaginary circle that extends from a directly above the observer after intersecting the meridian
Meridian
An imaginary circle the extends around the observer out to the planetary line and then south and north around the observer.
Ephemeris
Table giving planetary positions over a set period of time.
