What are the Celiac Axis Branches

A

Splenic Artery - largest vessel of the celiac axis
Common Hepatic Artery - courses to the right of the body to supply the liver
Left Gastric Artery - Courses anteriorly to supply the lower esophagus and stomach

Aneurysm types

A

Fusiform - dilation of the vessel walls on all sides, uniform dilation
Saccular - An outpouching at one side of the vessel wall
Dissecting - A flap of tissue tears away from the vessel wall causing an accumulation of blood between the flap and the vessel wall
