What is a Metaphor?
Metaphor is a comparison between two things that are otherwise unrelated.
What is a simile?
a figure of speech involving the comparison of one thing with another thing of a different kind, used to make a description more emphatic or vivid (e.g. as brave as a lion ).

the occurrence of the same letter or sound at the beginning of adjacent or closely connected words.
What is personification?
the attribution of a personal nature or human characteristics to something non-human, or the representation of an abstract quality in human form.

the act of repeating, or doing, saying, or writing something again;
What is a short sentance?
A short sentence is not under 7 words or under 20 syllables.
What is a simple sentance?
a sentence consisting of only one clause, with a single subject and predicate.
What is a compound sentance?
A compound sentence is a sentence that connects two independent clauses, typically with a coordinating conjunction like and or but.
What is a complex sentance?
A complex sentence is made up of a main clause and a subordinate clause connected to each other with a subordinating conjunction.
What is a rule of three?
The rule of three is a storytelling principle that suggests people better understand concepts, situations, and ideas in groups of three.
What is a verb?
A word used to describe an action
What is an adverb?
A word that can modify or describe a verb.
What is a noun?
A person, place or a thing.
What is an adjective?
A word that describes a noun.
What is a pronoun?
A word that stands in for a noun, often to avoid the need to repeat the same noun over and over.
