Q

Constructive plate boundary

A

This is when two plates are moving apart. Next, a gap appears and molten magma fills the gap. A new crust will be formed.

13
Q

Destructive-Oceanic/Continental plate boundary

A

When two plates are pushed together and the heavier crust gets subducted. The plate then sticks and the magma in the mantle starts to melt the crust.

16
Q

What causes the plates to move?

A

In the mantle, the heat rises and falls, crating convection currents which causes the plates to move

17
Q

Lithosphere

A

The crust and upper mantle
