What are graphic scores?
They are where you use pictures to represent some music. When you want to say meow, put a cat.
What is pitch?
How high or low something is.
What is rhythm/duration
The length of notes/sounds. How long or short notes are.
What is tempo?
Tempo is the speed of music. How fast/slow something is.
What is texture?
Texture is the number of layers in the music. How thing or thick something it is.
What are dynamics?
Dynamics are how loud or quiet the music is.
What is structure?
Structurer is the different sections in a piece of music. Eg Intro, Verse,Chorus,Instrumental or Section A, SectionB, etc.
What is silence?
Silence is where there is no sound.
What is the major scale?
The major scale is C(Do),D(Re),E(Mi),F(Fa),G(So),A(La),B(Ti),C(Do)
Where is C on a piano?
C is to left of the 2 black keys.
How do you remember the notes on the lines in the treble clef?
E very, G ood, B ogey, D eservers,F licking
How do you remember the notes in between the lines on the treble clef.
F,A,C,E
What does ff mean?
Fortissimo, really bad.
What does pp mean?
Pianissimo, really quite.
What does mp mean?
Mezzo piano, moderately loud.
