Present Simple
Doing right now and still haven’t finished.
Present Continuous
Action of the past (We aren’t saying when that was and how much time it took).
Present Perfect
Action started in the past but still happening.
Present Perfect Continuous
Did and finished.
Past Simple
We were doing something when something happened.
Past Continuous
-I was making dinner when he arrived.
Finished action in the past which happened before another one happened.
Past Perfect
-I had made dinner when he arrived.
Finished action in the past which was happening for some time before another one happened (Using rarely but in tales).
Past Perfect Continuous
-I had been eating pizza for an hour when you arrived.
Future action.
Future Simple
Seems like prediction of 2 future actions.
Future Continuous
-I will be distracting the security, while you sneak inside the building.
Future action that will be done before another one happened.
Future Perfect
-I will have left before you arrive.
Action that will continue up until a point in the future.
Future Perfect Continuous
-I will have been eating pizza for an hour when you arrive.
