What is the present tense?
The present tense is what you are currently doing (now)
How do you form the present tense for -er verbs?
For -er verbs:
- Take the infinitive and take of the ‘er’ ending and add to the end:
- e for ‘I’ form
- es for ‘you’ form
- e for ‘he/she/we’ form
- ons for ‘we’ form
- ez for ‘you’ form
- ont for ‘they’ form
- add the preposition in front of the verb

For -ir verbs:

Used to show what you are ‘going to’ do

Used to show what you ‘will’ do

Take the infinitive, drop the ending and add the simple future ending

What is the conditional tense?
To show what ‘would’ happen in the future

What is the imperfect tense?
To show what ‘used’ to happen
How do you form the imperfect tense?
Remove ending and add the imperfect ending
What are the imperfect tense endings?

What is the subjunctive tense?
The subjunctive is a specific verb form. It usually expresses something that you wish for, or a hypothetical rather than actual situation
Eg. If only I were ten years younger.
How do you form the subjunctive tense?
Trigger phrase(eg.bien que) always followed by que + infinitive stem + endings
What are the subjunctive endings?
Je -e Tu -es Il/elle/on -e Nous -ions Vous -iez Ils/elles -ent
